Hello, or as Charlotte would say:
Salutations,
Thank you for visiting my website, whether you're here to learn about my writing or just cyberstalking. If you can't find what you're looking for here, please use my contact form to get in touch.
I am an American writer and editor living in Somerset, UK. I have a BS in ecology from the University of Colorado and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Bristol.
I've also worked as editor here and there, including as lead editor and cat herder for The Bristol Anthology 2024. I am able to help at any stage of the fiction writing process, from developmental editing to copyediting to final proofreading. My editorial interest tends toward literary and speculative fiction (short and long form). I am well-versed in both US and UK grammar and spelling conventions.
My own fiction writing focuses on the uncomfortable and the unspoken, often through a speculative lens. Links to my published writing can be found below.
Aside from writing and reading, I enjoy the outdoors, animals, and cooking. I'm neither a dog nor a cat person; I adore both equally.
-Charlie
